We have over 40 years of experience in our Transformer Manufacturing Business. As a part of our Transformer Manufacturing Business, we manufacture five different types of transformers with customized technical specifications to address the energy needs of industries to which we cater, which include power transmission, railways, renewable energy and power distribution.

Engineering
Indigenously developed Computer Aided Engineering tools, having capability to check the integrity of design under various site conditions as well as under Short Circuit Condition are used to optimize the electrical design. Various mechanical /thermal programs are also used to ensure the performance of transformers.
We employ advanced design and simulation tools, including CAD, 2D/3D drafting, and electrical simulation software, for precise engineering and optimization of transformers, substations, and GIS solutions. These tools support accuracy in design and contribute to quality assurance across projects.
Machinery
Vertical Winding Machine
Vertical winding machine are used for winding transformer coils with precision. We source these machines both domestically
and from overseas.
Vapour Phase Drying Oven
Vapour phase drying oven are used for removing moisture from coils and insulations using vapour-phase drying. The ovens are
sources both domestically and imported.
Lighting Impulse Test Set
Lighting impulse test set generate high-voltage impulses to test transformer insulation and are generally imported.
Components
Our Manufacturing Facilities have a backward integrated setup that supports in-house production of critical components for our transformers such as transformer tanks and radiators. We source steel plates which are then cut, welded and transformed into transformer tanks, as opposed to procuring the transformer tanks from third-party suppliers. We also manufacture pressed steel radiators in-house, which serve as cooling components for our transformers. Cold rolled close annealed steel coils are cut, pressed, welded and assembled into radiator elements. This backward integration ensures stringent quality control, operational efficiency, and cost optimization of our transformer tanks and radiators. The backward integration at our Manufacturing Facilities also reduces our dependency on external vendors and enables us to have faster lead time for supply of our products in the market as compared to our competitors.
QA/Testing
We have quality assurance, quality control, health and safety management at our Manufacturing Facilities, which enable us to produce and deliver our products to our customers while maintaining high quality standards and monitoring regulatory compliance at our Manufacturing Facilities.
Our Manufacturing Facilities are ISO-certified including ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 and house testing laboratories which are accredited by the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories. The in-house testing laboratory supports routine and type tests including, amongst others, impulse and temperature rise, enabling prototype validation, and standard product verification. We conduct product development through an integrated engineering team embedded within our transformer design operations.
We have conducted short circuit tests for various ratings of transformers which verify the transformers’ ability to withstand thermal and mechanical stresses during fault conditions. Such short circuit tests are conducted at reputed government laboratories such as Central Power Research Institute and National High Power Test Laboratory, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of safety, reliability, and independent verification. We conduct short circuit testing at scale and as on September 30, 2025, have tested over 200 ratings.
